Allo AI Pricing (2026): Plans & Real Cost
Allo prices per seat, and its AI Receptionist is a per-agent add-on. See 2026 plan prices, worked shop examples, and what a service business really pays.

Allo is a business phone system first. Its AI Receptionist is an add-on you pay for on top of at least one phone seat. That structure matters more than any single price when you compare Allo with an AI answering service built for a trades front desk.
Prices below come from Allo's pricing page and its plans and pricing help article, checked October 12, 2026. Allo says its add-on pricing "is early and can still change," so confirm the numbers at checkout. This article is published by Service Socket, which sells a competing product. We have tried to state Allo's pricing exactly as Allo publishes it.
Quick answer
- Business seat: $32 per user per month billed yearly, or $45 billed monthly.
- Ultra seat: $100 per user per month billed yearly, or $120 billed monthly.
- AI Receptionist add-on: $32 per agent per month billed yearly. Allo says it costs the same as a Business seat and follows your billing term, so plan on $45 per agent on monthly billing.
- Other costs: extra numbers from $5/month, a $24 one-time registration to text US and Canadian numbers, and a $50/month Power Dialer for outbound call queues.
- Not metered by the minute: the AI Receptionist is billed per agent, and national calls are unlimited.
- Typical small shop: three Business seats plus one AI agent is $180/month on monthly billing, or $128/month billed yearly, before optional add-ons.

How the Allo AI Receptionist works
According to Allo's AI Receptionist documentation, each phone line gets its own agent. You choose whether it answers only missed calls, every call, or business hours only. It answers questions from your website and up to three uploaded files, keeps asking until it has the details you marked as required, transfers callers under plain-language rules (warm transfer is in beta), and books meetings into Google Calendar, Cal.com, or Calendly.
Allo also includes missed-call text-back on every plan and sends email reminders when a promised callback has not happened. After a call, it can fill empty fields in a connected CRM.
That is a capable general-purpose receptionist. For a service business, the key question is what "book a meeting" means for your schedule. The documentation describes booking a calendar slot under booking-hour, buffer, and notice rules. It does not describe creating a job, checking technician capacity in a field-service system, or carrying the call into a quote and invoice. The integrations Allo lists center on sales CRMs such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, Attio, and Salesforce, plus Zapier and Make. If your schedule already lives in Google Calendar, that may be all you need. If it lives on a job board, plan for someone to re-enter each booking.
What a service shop actually pays
The examples below are hypothetical setups priced from Allo's published rates. They are not quotes.
Picture a three-truck HVAC shop. The owner and an office manager answer the main line, one lead tech takes customer calls, and the other techs do not need business numbers. The shop wants the AI to cover missed calls and after-hours on the main line.
| Setup | Monthly billing | Billed yearly (per month) |
|---|---|---|
| 3 Business seats + 1 AI agent | $180 | $128 |
| 5 Business seats + 1 AI agent | $270 | $192 |
| 5 Business seats + 2 AI agents (separate emergency line) | $315 | $224 |
The arithmetic is simple: seats x seat price, plus agents x agent price. For the first row on monthly billing, that is 3 x $45 + 1 x $45 = $180. Add $24 once for texting registration and $5/month for each extra number.
Two things drive the bill. First, every person who needs their own Allo number is a seat, so the cost follows headcount rather than call volume. Second, each line that needs its own receptionist is another agent. Call volume itself does not move the price, which is a real advantage in a heat wave.
Before you price any answering option, it helps to know what the missed calls are worth. Our HVAC missed-call estimate runs that math with your own weekly calls, missed share, and average ticket.
Allo vs Service Socket on price and scope
| Allo (Business + AI Receptionist) | Service Socket Starter | Service Socket Pro | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly price | $45 per seat + $45 per agent (monthly billing) | $99 | $299 |
| AI usage | Per agent, not per minute | 500 AI credits, then metered overage | 2,500 AI credits, then metered overage |
| Technicians | Each seat billed | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Phone lines | A number per seat; extra numbers from $5 | 1 line | Up to 3 lines |
| Booking | Google Calendar, Cal.com, or Calendly | Native leads and jobs, availability-aware booking | Same, plus schedule board and dispatch suggestions |
| Website chat | Not part of the AI Receptionist add-on docs | Same agent on voice and chat | Same agent on voice and chat |
| Follow-up | Missed-call text-back, SMS follow-up | Booking and lead capture | Outbound SMS and AI outbound calls |
| Team phone system | Yes: softphones, dialer, call analytics | No | No |
On Service Socket's published credit costs, a booked three-minute call uses about 17 credits. Starter's 500 credits cover roughly 29 booked calls a month before overage, and Pro's 2,500 cover roughly 147. A shop answering several hundred AI calls a month should price Pro or expected overage honestly, the same way it would price extra Allo seats.

- The AI Receptionist is not metered by the minute.
- Unlimited national calls and missed-call text-back on every plan.

- The listed integrations are built around sales CRMs rather than service scheduling.
- Allo flags its add-on pricing as early, so budget for change.
Who should choose Allo
Choose Allo if you need a business phone system for the whole team first and an AI receptionist second, your schedule lives in Google Calendar, Cal.com, or Calendly, and a handful of people answer the phone. In that setup, the per-seat model is easy to predict and the receptionist covers missed calls well.
Where Service Socket fits
Service Socket is not a team phone system. If you need every employee on a softphone with a power dialer, Allo covers that and Service Socket does not.
Service Socket is the narrower, deeper buy when the front desk is the problem: one Customer Agent on voice and website chat, booking against real availability, emergencies handed to a person as a warm transfer with a spoken summary, and native leads, jobs, quotes, and payments without per-technician fees. Starter is $99/month with 500 AI credits and Pro is $299/month with 2,500, with metered overage beyond the pool.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Allo cost per month?
Allo Business is $32 per user per month billed yearly or $45 billed monthly. Ultra is $100 yearly or $120 monthly. The AI Receptionist adds $32 per agent per month billed yearly, following your billing term. Prices checked October 12, 2026.
Is the Allo AI Receptionist included in the plan?
No. AI transcription and summaries are included, but the AI Receptionist is an add-on billed per agent on top of a paid plan. Allo describes it as costing the same as a Business seat.
Does Allo charge per minute for AI calls?
No. Allo bills the AI Receptionist per agent rather than per minute, and national calls are unlimited. International calls and texts outside the US are billed separately.
Does Allo have a free trial?
Yes. Allo lists a 7-day free trial on the Business plan. A credit card is required, and Allo says you are not charged until the trial ends.
Is Allo a good fit for HVAC or plumbing companies?
It can be if you mainly need a team phone system and your schedule lives in Google Calendar, Cal.com, or Calendly. If you want the call to become a job on your board, with technician availability and emergency handoff, compare a front-office product built for service businesses.
Price the whole month, not the seat
Allo's pricing is transparent: seats, agents, and a few small extras. The real cost depends on how many people need numbers, how many lines need an agent, and whether a calendar booking is enough or someone still has to build the job.
